Submission Guidelines

Conference progress: 

The first Modern Agriculture International Forum of 2023 is less than two weeks away. Here are some updates for friends who are interested in the conference:

All the main forum and major theme forum speaking slots have been filled, with over 40% of the 40 presentations selected from abstract submissions. Each theme forum will have a 40-minute roundtable discussion, and participants are welcome to join in the discussion on site.

The 14 speaking slots and 1 lightning talk poster for the Young Scholars Forum were all selected from open submissions. Only 5 lightning talk poster slots remain.

The poster submission is still ongoing, and the submission channel will officially close at 24:00 on April 17th. Please submit your poster as soon as possible.

Special note:

The poster size should not exceed 70cm (width) x 90cm (height); all selected posters and oral presentations will be included in the conference agenda; excellent English submissions will be included in the conference proceedings.

Submission guideline

We are interested in the discovery and problem-solving that fosters socioeconomic development and agricultural applications in the following aspects but not limited to:

Agricultural Production;

Resource and Environment;

Nutrition and Health;

Social and economics.

Key date

Early bird registration for the conference ends on March 20th, 

after which regular registration prices apply, including on-site registration.

The abstract is limited to 500 words. Please follow the format below: 

• Article title;  

• Author and      affiliation, including the email address of the corresponding author;

• Abstract.

The abstract contains an introduction, objectives, methods, results/expected results, and implications. Specifically:

- A basic introduction to the field, comprehensible to a scientist in any discipline;

- A more detailed background, comprehensible to scientists in related discipline;

- The general problem addressed by this particular study;

- A summary of the main results;

- Explaining what the main result reveals in direct comparison to what was thought to be the case previously, or how the main results extend to prior knowledge;

- Put the results into a more general context;

- Provide a broader perspective.

Core Image (optional):

Please prepare an image of the main findings of the research, including legends (the tables should be converted into image format). Please save the image in JPG format, with a size of ≤ 500kb.

Key points:

The submitted abstract can be modified and withdrawn online before the submission deadline.

The organizing committee will conduct a scientific selection of the manuscript and score it based on the its originality, research quality and significance.

Based on the scores, the organizing committee will select outstanding abstracts from the submitted unpublished research, and the speakers of the outstanding abstracts can apply for the conference awards.

Outstanding unpublished research manuscripts can be recommended for peer review by the following 16 Wiley journals:
